Vivog Slicker Brush – Hard Pin

The Vivog Slicker Brush – Hard Pins is an ergonomically designed brush for large, medium and small dogs and cats.  Features rust-resistant, semi rigid, long and short pins set on an air cushion for deep brushing.  Detangles and removes dead hairs whilst stimulating the skin and encouraging the regrowth of healthy hair.
Do not use on “corded” fur.

Available in 3 sizes:

• Small – Brushing area 8cm x 5cm
• Medium – Brushing area 10cm x 6cm
• Large – Brushing area 12cm x 9cm

How to use the slicker brush ?

• On long fur. To facilitate brushing, evenly spray the coat with conditioner beforehand. Then, gently and slowly brush concentrating on the body and tail.
• On wire haired dogs (Terriers and Schnauzers). Brush energetically but carefully to stimulate the skin and remove dead hairs. Then brush against the direction of hair growth to remove knots.
• On curly fur (poodles). Gentle brushing more often is recommended to prevent the rapid formation of matts.
